Trickle Up and Agency.com Launch ‘Seed A Dream’ Campaign

New York — November 26, 2007 — Agency.com (www.agency.com) today announced a new pro-bono partnership with microenterprise development nonprofit, Trickle Up (www.trickleup.org).

Trickle Up has partnered with Agency.com New York to handle marketing activities for its 2007-2008 fundraising effort, centered on the holiday gift-giving season. As part of the campaign, when you donate $100, you receive an exclusive Trickle Up necklace, designed by New York jewelry design studio, TENTHOUSANDTHINGS.
William Abrams, President of Trickle Up, said, “The internet is profoundly changing the way nonprofits raise funds and create awareness. Trickle Up is excited about partnering with Agency.com to develop innovative digital strategies to broadcast our mission on the web.”

The ‘Seed a Dream’ campaign launched at Thanksgiving and centers around the site, www.trickleup.org/seedadream. A 75 second animation, narrated by Maggie Gyllenhaal, illustrates three visual ‘dreams’ in which $100 provides enough capital to make a small business plan come to life. The line that runs through the animation morphs into the necklace itself. In addition to the website experience, Agency.com is advising on donated media buys and is managing the Trickle Up Facebook community.

“We are proud to be partnering with Trickle Up and supporting their efforts to help entrepreneurs living in extreme poverty around the world transform their lives. We will be providing digital advertising, media and buzz marketing to help boost donations during the giving season – a critical time of year for all charity fundraisers,” said Riccardo Zane, President of Agency.com New York.
